Today is or would have been (whichever is correct to say) Bob Marley’s 67th birthday. Bob is one of my favourite singers of all time, I’ll never get sick of listening to his songs. His voice makes me happy and gives me the chills at the same time. I’d like to get a tattoo with some of his lyrics but I’m not 100% sure about lyrics tattoos.

Today is my mum’s 42nd birthday. She’s been moaning that we don’t have any nice mugs so I got her this ^__^ We went to a really fancy restaurant too… McDonald’s! I feel bad that we didn’t go somewhere decent but she’s not really bothered about celebrating her birthday.

I gave my friend Tom my hat to wear when we got back from a party because he had to sleep on a chair and it was bloody freezing! He ended up wearing it since we got home at 3am until he left at 10pm, and kept pulling it over his face in attempt to look like an actual bear… a scary bear.

I already had 7 piercings (tongue, 2 on each ear lobe, cartilage and tragus) but I wanted something more visible. I wasn’t sure if it’d suit me, but I love it. I remember when I was about 12 my mum tried to stop me from wanting to get my nose pierced by saying that the needle might hit a nerve and make me permanently bog eyed! When I showed her it yesterday she said called me a chav then said, “it looks nice I suppose…”.

Tonight I went to my friend’s house, and Luke was drawing this amazing picture. I don’t know why but I really loved it so he finished it and gave it to me before I left :) When I got back to my boyfriend’s, his step dad saw it and kept saying, “what was he smoking!?”. He thought it was insane, the eyes do creep me out a bit. This is definitely going on my wall <3

I’ve had no inspiration whatsoever this week. I feel more exhausted than when I was up all night revising for my exams, which is confusing D: Just so you know, late uploads are highly likely for the next couple of weeks. I’m going to be really busy (and poor) with so many birthdays coming up as well as Valentine’s day.
Sorry for not posting this yesterday, I was out literally all day. I got this in Cornwall, I wish I knew the name of the shop because they had loads of Hello Kitty stuff! I go through phases of wearing a certain necklace loads, for the past few weeks it’s been this one :P
The first picture of this project showed some of the Momiji dolls I’ve collected. I also collect Kokeshi dolls. They’re handmade from wood and lack arms or legs, but have an enlarged head. I was rearranging them today so I decided to take a picture of one. This one’s called Kosode according to the label ;P
One of my friends has inspired me to start drawing and using my tablet again. This is only a 2 minute doodle but I kinda like it, though I went a bit crazy with the hair. Expect some decent stuff in the future! :)
